Bhubaneswar: With neurological disorders emerging as a growing health concern, the importance of timely diagnosis, advanced treatment and comprehensive care for brain and neurological conditions came into focus at a special edition of ‘Swasthya Charcha’, organised by Swasthya Sambad and Kanak News in association with Manipal Hospital Bhubaneswar.
The discussion brought together a panel of leading specialists from the Centre of Excellence in Neurosciences at Manipal Hospital Bhubaneswar, who spoke extensively on brain health, neurological disorders, neurosurgical care and the growing role of advanced interventions in improving patient outcomes.

During the interaction, the experts highlighted the need to recognise neurological symptoms at an early stage and seek appropriate medical attention without delay. They discussed various aspects of brain health, neurological and neurosurgical conditions, advances in treatment and the importance of a multidisciplinary approach in managing complex cases.
The doctors also emphasised that awareness plays a crucial role in preventing complications associated with neurological conditions. From identifying warning signs of stroke to addressing disorders requiring neurosurgical intervention, timely consultation and access to specialised care can significantly influence treatment outcomes.
