One of the Odisha’s leading hospitals, Utkal Hospital in Bhubaneswar conducted Nuclear Medicine Update-2024 workshop. It was held on 24th of April in the hospital premise.
Dean Director Prof Dr P.K. Das in his inaugural speech, said that Utkal Hospital has played a leading role in the field of Nuclear Medicine in Odisha and neighboring states.
Head of nuclear medicine department of the hospital Dr Saroj Kumar Sahu in his speech said that the usefulness of nuclear medicine for various patients in the medical field is not only limited to the detection of disease but also in the field of treatment.
A brief discussion was also held on the availability of various facilities in nuclear medicine in the hospital. Hospital’s director medical services Dr Ranjan Kumar Mohapatra indicated that such workshops are planned to be held every year.
Notably, many health experts and delegates graced the event and spoke about the betterment of healthcare in the state.
