Utkal Hospital celebrated World Liver Day on 21st April to create awareness about liver health. A walk and run program was organized on the occasion.
Main goal of this event was to make the public aware of how they can keep their liver healthy.
Many delegates and health experts graced the event along with 500 partispants from different categories took part in this Walk and run program.
Resident editor of English daily, The New Indian Express, Siba Kumar Mohanty, Dr Sachidananda Mohanty, DMET of Odisha and Dr.Bibhuti Bhusan Nayak, joint director of SOTTO attended the event as chief guests.
Senior consultant of HPB & GI surgery Dr. Satyaprakash Ray Choudhury, Senior consultant of HPB surgery & GI oncology Dr.Salil Kumar Parida were also among the participants who graced the event.
A prize distribution programme marked the end of the event with contestants getting felicitated by the Chief guests.
