Meet Gastroenterologist Dr Sonmoon Mohapatra, who is a known face in today’s health era. Dr Mohapatra has done her masters in medicine from one of the finest institute, Mayo Clinic, USA. She is soon to be joined in Sai Institute Of Gastroenterology, Bhubaneswar where she will be providing universal healthcare to the people as informed by founder of the institute, Dr Ashutosh Mohapatra.
Dr Mohapatra from her childhood days was very passionate about her studies. After completing her MBBS studies from Stanley Medical College, Chennai, she went to USA for higher studies. She then completed her fellowship from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, New Jersey in 2018.
During her fellowship, she visited Mayo Clinic and John Hopkins University as a visiting research fellow which helped her to gain more knowledge in the field of medicine.
She has further done more research in advances endoscopy and luminal endoscopy in Mayo Clinic in the year 2022. Apart from being a medico, she is also a sucker for technology. She has immense skills in managing latest trends of data science.
Ms Mohapatra is also a sucker of art. The medico tag could not take her art love away from her. She sometimes indulges herself in making Pattachitras and playing Sitar. She is also a big foodie with a passion of cooking.
