Bhubaneswar, May 16: Hi-Tech Medical College and Hospital has introduced a state-of-the-art Cath Lab and MRI machine, dedicated to providing advanced healthcare services to the people of Odisha. These cutting-edge facilities are expected to mark a revolutionary change in the state’s healthcare infrastructure.
The MRI machine, powered by Tesla-1.5 technology and operated through Artificial Intelligence, along with a high-end, far-reaching knowledge-driven Cath Lab, is designed to deliver precise diagnosis and effective treatment across all medical departments.
Speaking at the inauguration, Dr. Tirupati Panigrahi, Founder and Chairman of the Hi-Tech Group, along with Managing Trustee Suresh Kumar Panigrahi, highlighted that the initiative aims to make high-end medical technology accessible to the general public—especially the poor, middle-class, and economically weaker sections.
Superintendent of Hi-Tech Medical College and Hospital, Prof. Dr. Rabindranath Behera, along with Prof. Dr. Upendranath Upadhyay (Head of Ranjan-Rashmi Department) and Pranati Mahapatra (Head of Biomedical Engineering), emphasized that many undetected and complex diseases will now be diagnosed accurately through these facilities. They pointed out that patients who earlier had to travel long distances for specialized diagnosis and treatment will now receive world-class care within the state.
The new Cath Lab and MRI unit were officially unveiled during a press meet attended by both print and electronic media representatives. The initiative is expected to greatly benefit Odisha’s healthcare system by enabling early detection and timely treatment of various ailments.
