Autism Spectrum disorder(ASD)
It is often referred only as autism, is a neurological and developmental disorder caused by some differences in the brain. It is mostly diagnosed in childhood. People or children having autism show symptoms like-
- Repetitive behaviors
- Lack social interaction skills
- Restricted behaviors
- Lack interest
- Get anxious about social situations
- They find it hard to understand other’s feelings and thinking.
Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder(ADHD)
ADHD, is mostly seen in children, and is a neuro developmental disorder. It is usually diagnosed in childhood and it lasts till their adulthood. The actual cause is still unknown but, it is believed that genetics play an important role and have neurological origins.

- Can’t hold their focus for a longer duration.
- Can’t sit still for more time.

- Sometimes they may act without think about the consequences.
- They interrupt others in their work or playing.

- Easily distracted by other things.

Cerebral Palsy(CP)
Many people mistake Cerebral Palsy as a form of autism but, it happens when the brain undergoes severe damage or injury before, during or immediately after birth.
Symptoms
- Weak legs or arms
- Muscle spasm
- Shaking hands
- Delayed developmental milestones
Difference between them
ASD is a series of related developmental disorders which affects behavior, socializing, language and the ability to learn. ADHD is a condition, which impacts your concentration and thinking. CP and ASD are also different disorders but may co-exist together in some cases also.

- Occupational therapy
- Speech therapy
- Cognitive behavioral therapy
