Manipal Hospital Bhubaneswar has launched MAHI (Manipal Hospitals Healthy India), a new preventive health and wellness platform aimed at encouraging early screening and proactive healthcare among individuals and families. The platform was launched on December 30, 2025, in the presence of Sri Babu Singh, Hon’ble MLA of Ekamra Constituency, and Dr. Saktimay Mahapatra, Cluster Director – South East, Manipal Hospital.
With lifestyle diseases on the rise and health awareness increasing after the pandemic, MAHI focuses on preventive care rather than treatment after illness. The platform offers customised health check-up packages designed for different age groups, including teens, adults and seniors, along with condition-based and organ-specific screenings covering areas such as diabetes, heart health, thyroid disorders and cancer markers.
Addressing the gathering, Sri Babu Singh said preventive healthcare plays a crucial role in building a healthier and more resilient society. He added that initiatives like MAHI help create awareness about early diagnosis, regular health check-ups and timely medical intervention. Dr. Saktimay Mahapatra said early detection and preventive interventions can significantly reduce the burden of chronic diseases and improve long-term health outcomes.
MAHI brings together health screenings, round-the-clock doctor consultations and adult vaccinations under a single connected platform, making preventive healthcare simpler and more accessible. The services can be accessed through digital platforms as well as assisted channels at hospitals and in the community.
Manipal Hospitals said the initiative aims to make preventive healthcare a regular habit rather than a reaction to illness, helping people stay informed, proactive and engaged in managing their health.
