Swasthya Sambad and Kanak News jointly organised the Health Conclave 2025 on ortho care at The Crown Hotel, Bhubaneswar, bringing together eminent experts to shed light on pressing issues in orthopaedic health. The conclave aimed to create awareness about modern treatment options and preventive measures in bone and joint care.
In the first panel discussion of the event, Dr. Dibya Singha Das, Senior Consultant, Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine, and Dr. Naresh Panigrahi, Senior Consultant Orthopaedic, engaged in an insightful dialogue on the theme “From Joint Pain to Joint Transplant: What Patients Must Know.” They highlighted the growing incidence of joint-related problems due to lifestyle factors, ageing, and injuries, while stressing the importance of early diagnosis and timely intervention.
Both experts elaborated on advancements in orthopaedic procedures, including minimally invasive surgeries and joint replacement techniques, which are improving patient outcomes and quality of life. They also urged people to maintain healthy lifestyles, adopt physiotherapy practices, and not delay medical consultation in case of persistent pain or mobility issues.
The conclave marked the beginning of a series of discussions designed to bridge the gap between medical experts and the public, ensuring people are better informed about their health choices.
