Eminent stomach and liver specialist of the country Dr. Ashutosh Mohapatra was felicitated in a special event organized by the Economics Times. The event was held on Thursday, 16th of March in Kolkata.
Dr. Mohapatra was felicitated as Most Influential Person by British Deputy High Commissioner Peter Cook. He was given this honor for his outstanding contribution in the field of stomach and liver diseases.
Notably, Dr. Ashutosh Mohapatra is the founder of Sai Institute of Gastroenterology and Liver Science in Bhubaneswar. He has extensive experience in the treatment of complex stomach diseases.
Sai Institute of Gastroenterology and Liver Science has become a well known name in Eastern India for Dr. Mohapatra’s endless efforts while modern equipment in there like zoom colonoscope, endocytoscopes etc. are helping in detecting Early Gastric Cancer.
Along with this, he has also completed his training from National Cancer Institute, Tokyo and Osaka International Cancer Institute, Japan.
He was recently felicitated by Ex director of AIIMS, Dr. Randeep Guleria at The Health Conclave organized by Swasthya Sambad and Kanak News.
