Our skin is a complex multitasking organ playing many crucial roles for our body like-protection from external environment, helps in regulating our body temperature, it minimizes water loss,  sweat which excretes waste from our body, and  detects sensations  like – cold, heat, pressure, and pain. Therefore, a healthy skin is a vital part of our body and is extremely important.

Our skin is classified into three different layers – the dermis, epidermis, and subcutaneous layer. Each layer has a definite function to perform to maintain our health. Our skin surface has thousands of tiny pores and hair follicles and through these our skin breathes, absorbs moisture , and releases sweat, which helps in regulating an ideal body temperature. They also protect our skin from dust.
