- Platelet-rich plasma therapy (Plasma therapy) – The patient’s blood is drawn and centrifuged. The floating above part of blood or plasma is taken and infused into the knee of the patient to create a new cartilage. It has almost no side effects because this procedure is done with one’s own blood. It is beneficial in early to moderate-grade arthritis.
- Radiofrequency ablation- nerves around the knee joint are ablated to break the pain signal to the brain. Thus, it reduces the pain.
- Prolotherapy- is a treatment where an injection is given to reduce pain.
- Viscose supplement- Hyaluronic acid injection is injected inside the joint.
